Sometimes we find ourselves repeating patterns, which might be positive or negative and which we might or might not be aware of i.e. be unconscious. Psychodynamic counselling or therapy aims to raise our consciousness and gives us choices in whether or not we repeat patterns of behaviour.
During psychodynamic counselling or psychotherapy we may find ourselves relating to the therapist as we do with other people. This is called transference and can be helpful, if shared in the therapy, in gaining a deeper awareness of ourselves.

As a qualified Psychodynamic Psychotherapist, I offer short term (12 sessions) and long term (open ended) individual counselling and psychotherapy.
Sessions last for 50 minutes and are weekly.
Fees for qualified Psychodynamic Psychotherapy & Counselling depend on your income, with the minimum being £50 (concessions are available for morning & early afternoon sessions).
